Suco Village in Mumbulsari continues to advance under the leadership of H. Taufik Hidayat, NL.P, CPM, notably through the SUCO RTH (Green Open Space) Program, which serves as both an eco-friendly public facility and an economic hub for MSMEs.
To enhance competitiveness, the village partnered with Jember State Polytechnic (Polije) through a community service initiative focused on digital capacity building and updated tax regulation awareness.
“Our hope is that Suco MSMEs can compete not only locally, but also regionally and nationally,” said H. Taufik Hidayat.
Polije’s team provided training on digital marketing strategies and introduced the 2025 Core Tax System, which will require all MSMEs to adapt for future tax reporting.
“Social media can be effective if strategies match audience behavior,” said IT lecturer Bitari, while Business lecturer Sugeng added, “Core Tax will be mandatory for MSMEs starting in 2026.”
The initiative was well received by local entrepreneurs, who expressed increased confidence in managing promotion and compliance. This collaboration reflects a shared vision for sustainable development, positioning Suco Village toward becoming an independent and globally competitive rural model.
