POLIJE STUDENTS SELECTED FOR THE SPRING PUH EXCHANGE PROGRAM IN JAPAN

Another proud achievement has been made by the students of Politeknik Negeri Jember (Polije). Five outstanding students have been selected to participate in the Spring PUH Exchange Program at Prefectural University of Hiroshima, Japan. This program presents a golden opportunity for them to expand their academic and cultural horizons in an international environment.

The selected students come from two different study programs, namely Agricultural Engineering and Renewable Energy Engineering. The following are the names of the students who will take part in the exchange program:

  • Nur Fikri Hidayatullah (Agricultural Engineering)
  • Panji Ridho Rifata Raya (Agricultural Engineering)
  • Bangkit Dewa Negara (Renewable Energy Engineering)
  • Maulana Alfi Fredyansyah (Renewable Energy Engineering)
  • Rachel Natalie Anggraini (Renewable Energy Engineering)

The Spring PUH Exchange Program aims to provide students with broader learning experiences in academics and technology while introducing them to Japanese culture. Throughout the program, participants will engage in various academic activities, research, and cultural exchanges with students from the Prefectural University of Hiroshima.

The departure of these students is also the result of academic and research collaboration between Polije and the Prefectural University of Hiroshima. This program is expected to enhance students’ competencies and expand Polije’s international cooperation network.

Mochammad Nuruddin, S.T., M.Si., Head of the Engineering Department at Polije, expressed the institution’s appreciation and pride for the selected students.
“We hope that the students traveling to Japan will make the most of this opportunity, uphold the good name of Polije, and gain valuable experiences that can be applied in Indonesia, he stated.

One of the participants, Rachel Natalie Anggraini, shared her gratitude and excitement for this opportunity.
“I feel extremely grateful and proud to be selected for this program. This is an incredible opportunity for us to learn, adapt to an international environment, and bring new insights back to Indonesia. I hope this experience will inspire other Polije students to pursue global opportunities,” she said.

With this program, it is hoped that more Polije students will be motivated to participate in similar international programs in the future to improve the quality of education and global competitiveness. (rda)
