POLIJE STUDENTS ACHIEVE DOUBLE GOLD AT 15TH INTERNATIONAL TOURISM COMPETITION

Students from Politeknik Negeri Jember (Polije) have achieved remarkable success by securing two gold medals at the 15th International Tourism Competition. This prestigious event, held in early May 2025, brought together participants from various countries to showcase their talents and innovations in the tourism sector.

The first Polije team, comprising Vemas Aditia, Mutika Andadari, and Amalina Ghitha Kamiliya, clinched the gold medal in the “Tourism Product Innovation” category. Their project highlighted innovative approaches to sustainable tourism, emphasizing local culture and environmental conservation.

The second team, consisting of Dinda Rachmawati, Fadillah Nurul Azizah, and Muhammad Rizky, earned the gold medal in the “Tourism Marketing Strategy” category. Their presentation focused on leveraging digital platforms to promote eco-tourism destinations in Indonesia, aiming to boost local economies while preserving natural resources.

Dr. Budi Santoso, Director of Polije, expressed immense pride in the students’ achievements. He stated, “This accomplishment reflects our commitment to fostering innovation and excellence in our students. Their success on an international stage brings honor to our institution and the nation.”
