A remarkable achievement was once again recorded by a student of Politeknik Negeri Jember (Polije). Dennisa Augustifanya Putri proudly secured a Bronze Medal at the Indonesian Polytechnic English Championship (IPEC) II 2025, a national competition hosted by Politeknik Negeri Manado in North Sulawesi.
Dennisa competed in the Story Telling category, Proficient division, where she showcased her strong skills despite tough competition against participants from various polytechnics across Indonesia.
“I feel very happy even though I have not yet won in the master category. Still, I am satisfied because I managed to earn a medal and score quite high, despite having very limited preparation time,” Dennisa expressed enthusiastically.
Looking ahead, Dennisa shared her aspirations for future competitions.
“This was my first experience, and I learned a lot from IPEC II 2025. I hope to have a clearer vision of what I need to prepare so that I can aim for the master category next year,” she explained.
Her accomplishment not only brings pride to Polije but also motivates other students to continue honing their English proficiency and prepare themselves for upcoming challenges in both academic and professional arenas.
The IPEC II 2025 served as a prestigious platform that not only tested English language skills among Indonesian polytechnic students but also strengthened academic networking across vocational higher education institutions.
