POLIJE STUDENT WINS 1ST PLACE AT BLAMBANGAN CHAMPIONSHIP 6

A student from Politeknik Negeri Jember (Polije) has once again brought pride to the campus by achieving outstanding success at the Blambangan Championship 6, a prestigious pencak silat competition organized by the Indonesian Pencak Silat Association (IPSI) Banyuwangi. The competition, held at GOR Tawang Alun, Banyuwangi, attracted martial artists from various regions, all competing fiercely to be the best in their respective categories.

One of Polije’s students who made a remarkable achievement is Ahmad Fiki Firmansyah, a student from the Agroindustry Management Study Program. Fiki successfully secured 1st place in the Men’s Class C Match category after a series of challenging bouts.

In an interview after the competition, Fiki expressed his gratitude and pride over this achievement.

“Alhamdulillah, I am very grateful for the results I achieved in this championship. The journey to victory was not easy, but with hard work, disciplined training, as well as prayers and support from many parties, I was finally able to achieve the best result,” said Fiki.

Fiki explained that preparation for this championship had been carried out long beforehand. Intensive training was part of his routine to enhance his technique, physical endurance, and mental strength in preparation for the competition. In addition, he carefully developed match strategies to anticipate various fighting styles from his opponents.

“Every match had its own challenges, and the opponents I faced were very strong. But I tried to stay focused and apply the strategies I had trained for. Alhamdulillah, the matches went smoothly, and I was able to give my best,” he added.

Fiki also acknowledged that his success would not have been possible without the support of many parties, including his coach, family, friends, and the campus, which continuously provided motivation.

As a talented young athlete, Fiki hopes that this achievement will serve as a stepping stone for him to reach higher levels. He is determined to continue honing his skills and participating in larger competitions at both the national and international levels.

“I want to keep training and improving my abilities so that I can achieve even greater accomplishments. I also hope to inspire other students to have the courage to compete and develop their potential in any field,” said Fiki.

Moreover, he hopes that Polije will continue to support students in the field of sports, particularly pencak silat, so that more talented athletes can emerge from the campus and compete on a broader scale.

Fiki’s achievement has received appreciation from various parties, including the Polije academic community. The campus fully supports students who wish to develop themselves in both academic and non-academic fields, including sports and the arts.

This success also serves as proof that Polije students excel not only in academics but also in prestigious sports competitions. With more and more students achieving great accomplishments, Polije continues to be recognized as an institution that nurtures high-quality young generations in various fields.

Ahmad Fiki Firmansyah’s success at the Blambangan Championship 6 serves as an inspiration for other students to keep striving, training, and never be afraid to chase their dreams. With hard work and perseverance, there are no limits to what one can achieve. (rda)
