Jember State Polytechnic (Polije) welcomed an official visit from PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh at the Asih Asah Asuh Building, marking a significant moment with the signing of a formal cooperation agreement between the two parties.
Polije Director, Saiful Anwar, S.TP., M.P., personally received the delegation led by Christian Suryo Hadmadi, Director of PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh.
In his remarks, Christian emphasized the long-standing and close partnership that has been built between Polije and PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh.
“We hope this collaboration will continue to grow in supporting Polije’s activities. The focus of this partnership is the synergy between education and industry, particularly in the food sector, to enhance our shared capacity and address the challenges faced by the food industry,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Director Saiful Anwar highlighted the importance of strong ties between vocational higher education and industry partners. According to him, cooperation through Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) and Cooperation Agreements (PKS) is a concrete implementation of the ministry’s mission to strengthen the link and match between education and industry needs.
“This collaboration is a strategic step to ensure that the vocational competencies we develop truly make an impact in the industrial world. Through programs such as the Matching Fund, this synergy is expected to drive innovations that provide real benefits to society,” Saiful said.
This partnership underscores Polije’s commitment to expanding its network of industry collaborations while accelerating the role of vocational education in supporting the growth of the national food industry.
