The Agricultural Innovation and Technology Competition (AITeC) 7 2025 brought a fresh dimension to the event with the AutoCAD competition, held at the Perjuangan 45 Sports Hall courtyard of Jember State Polytechnic (Polije). This category drew strong attention as it tested students’ technical design skills using digital technology.
Participants were challenged to complete detailed design projects with high precision and within strict time limits. AutoCAD, a widely used design software in the industrial world, served as a pivotal tool to sharpen students’ accuracy and innovation.
Polije Director Saiful Anwar, S.TP., M.P., emphasized that the competition aligns with the demands of modern industry.
“The AutoCAD competition trains students to work with design standards commonly used in professional companies. It is not just a contest, but real preparation for entering the workforce,” he stated.
He further added that students’ involvement in the AutoCAD category reflects how vocational competitions are becoming increasingly integrated with digital technological advancements.
“Design is the foundation of many innovations, and mastering AutoCAD gives our vocational graduates a significant competitive edge,” Saiful added.
Participants showed strong determination, fully focused on their screens while crafting technical sketches. The tension of racing against time blended with their enthusiasm to present the best possible designs.
The competition also demonstrated that technology is not merely a tool, but a medium for expressing students’ innovative ideas. Some designs even showcased applicable concepts supporting agriculture and engineering sectors.
With the inclusion of the AutoCAD category, AITeC 7 2025 reaffirmed itself as a multidisciplinary platform, highlighting not only agricultural skills but also engineering and digital technology capabilities.
This competition is expected to produce a young generation that is creative, adaptable, and ready to face global industry challenges through precise and innovative design expertise.
