Politeknik Negeri Jember’s (Polije) Ngawi campus (PSDKU Polije Ngawi) actively participated in the Regional Innovation Exhibition held during the Musyawarah Perencanaan Pembangunan (Musrenbang) for the 2025–2045 Regional Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPD) in Ngawi Regency. The event took place on March 14, 2024, at Pendopo Wedya Graha and aimed to foster collaborative development planning among various stakeholders.

At the exhibition, PSDKU Polije Ngawi presented four standout innovations developed by its students and faculty, reflecting the institution’s commitment to applied research and community development. These innovations addressed local challenges and showcased practical solutions in agriculture, technology, and health sectors.
One of the highlighted innovations was a bio-organic fertilizer derived from agricultural waste, promoting sustainable farming practices among local farmers. Another featured project involved the development of a smart irrigation system utilizing IoT technology to optimize water usage in crop cultivation, addressing water scarcity issues in the region.
Additionally, the campus showcased a mobile application designed to assist small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in managing their businesses more effectively, offering features such as inventory tracking and financial reporting. The fourth innovation focused on a nutritious snack product formulated to combat malnutrition among children, aligning with public health objectives.
The exhibition attracted attention from various attendees, including government officials, industry representatives, and community leaders. Visitors expressed interest in the practical applications of the innovations and their potential to contribute to regional development goals.
PSDKU Polije Ngawi’s participation in the exhibition underscored the importance of academic institutions in driving innovation and addressing real-world problems. By engaging in such events, the campus not only demonstrates its research capabilities but also strengthens its ties with the local community and government bodies.
