POLIJE HOLDS FREE TUNE-UP SERVICE AT SENO 2025, A COLLABORATION BETWEEN THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT AND YAMAHA

The Engineering Department of Politeknik Negeri Jember (Polije) once again demonstrates its commitment to the field of engineering and automotive technology through a free tune-up service as part of the 2025 Synergy of Energy and Automotive (SENO) event. This year’s theme, “Engineering and Yamaha Collaboration: Students Innovate, Society Thrives”, provides students with an opportunity to hone their skills while directly benefiting the community.

Comprehensive Services for the Community’s Vehicles
This free tune-up service offers a range of maintenance services for motorcycles, including:

  • General servicing to enhance engine performance.
  • Routine maintenance to ensure vehicles remain in top condition.
  • Electrical system inspections to detect and repair issues in lights, batteries, and other electronic components.
  • Drive system checks on chains, CVTs, and wheels to ensure safety and riding comfort.
  • Spare part replacements for vehicles requiring new components to improve engine performance.

With this initiative, residents of Jember and surrounding areas can enjoy free vehicle maintenance while also learning about the importance of regular servicing.

The Head of Polije’s Engineering Department, Mochammad Nuruddin, S.T., M.Si., expressed his appreciation for this event, emphasizing that the free tune-up service is not just a social service but also a practical implementation of the knowledge students have acquired in class.

“Through this event, students can gain hands-on experience, apply theoretical knowledge, and engage with the community. Additionally, our collaboration with Yamaha further enriches their exposure to the automotive industry,” he stated.

He also hopes that similar activities will continue to strengthen the relationship between higher education institutions, the automotive industry, and society.

The collaboration between Polije’s Engineering Department and Yamaha in this event is a strategic step to enhance students’ skills while providing valuable services to the community. With Yamaha’s support, students have the opportunity to learn about the latest automotive technologies and develop their expertise in handling various vehicle issues.

As one of the leading vocational education institutions, Polije continues to create programs that benefit both students and the community. Through SENO 2025, Polije aims to foster synergy between education, industry, and society in the fields of engineering and automotive technology.

This free tune-up service is expected to become a regular event that not only assists the public in maintaining their vehicles but also serves as a platform for students to grow and prepare for careers in the automotive industry. (rda)
