A proud milestone was marked as twelve students from the International Class of the Information Management Department (Manajemen Informatika), Politeknik Negeri Jember (POLIJE), officially graduated at a moving ceremony held at the Red Hall of the Library, Changzhou Institute of Mechatronic Technology (CZIMT).
The graduates — Atikah Nuri Hazma, Aisyah Salshabilla Siska Putri, Alfionina Dwi Rachmalia, Muhammad Rama Pradipa Wijaya, Iqbal Amin, Ari Ananda Puja Kesuma, M. Reynand Iqbal Mahendra, Arya Advicenna, Haikal Muna’amul Islam, Fitri Amalia Saqila, Moch. Adim Rizky Syah Putra, and Ridho Aditya were celebrated for their academic journey and cross-cultural achievements after completing a three-year dual-campus international education program between POLIJE and CZIMT.
The graduation ceremony was themed “Youthful Dreams Take Flight,” and blended cultural warmth with formal recognition. It began with a video and poetry performance that traced the journey of the students from Indonesia to China, symbolizing growth, resilience, and friendship.
In his speech, CZIMT President Xu Chaoshang congratulated the graduates and left them with three pieces of advice: to remain passionate, to continue honing their skills, and to carry forward the spirit of the institute. The event continued with an inspiring “Graduation Lesson” delivered by CZIMT teachers, who performed the emotional song “Hope You Are Loved by This World” to wish students well on their next chapter.
An Indonesian student representative, Salsabila, shared a touching speech reflecting on their life changing experience, the value of the China–Indonesia friendship, and their commitment to bringing the knowledge and stories of China back to Indonesia.
In a symbolic gesture of appreciation, students participated in the Golden Ear Grain gratitude ceremony, offering handcrafted flowers to teachers, mentors, and staff. Additionally, all graduates received a digital memory archive prepared by CZIMT staff, preserving the unforgettable moments of their international study journey.
The ceremony also included the appointment of student ambassadors for alumni relations, highlighting CZIMT’s commitment to maintaining lifelong ties with its international graduates.
The collaboration between POLIJE and CZIMT is a shining example of global education that bridges cultures and prepares students to become competent professionals and global citizens. The graduates now return home equipped not only with academic credentials but also with intercultural insight and international experience.
