The Mission

    1. Performing globally-competitive vocational education prgram of the Applied English with orientation to build job competencies, both softskills and hardskills in the field of business in general and tourism.
    2. Conducting research and community service of applied English based on societies and steakholder needs and the development of science and technology.
    3. Providing science forum of applied English to execute three pillar of higher education (Tridarma) and the development of science.
    4. Implementing a credible, transparent, accountable, and responsible managerialsystem of study program.
    5. Establish cooperation at the national and Asian levels in the fields of education, research, and service in the field of English that can support the implementation of the Tri Dharma of higher education in study programs and be able to make a real contribution to the community.

Fields of Expertise Graduates of the English Study Program include competencies, main, supporting competencies and other competencies.

    1. The main competencies are applied English competence/ability in professional fields which include General English (listening, reading, speaking, writing, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, translation), English for Hotel and Restaurant, English for Tour and Travel, English for Banking, English for Secretary, English for Correspondence, English for Agrotourism and Public Speaking and Public Relations.
    2. Supporting competencies are competencies/capabilities in certain fields which include Travel Bureau Management, Language Course Management, Secretarial, Office Management, and Computers.
    3. Other competencies include Mandarin and Entrepreneurship.
