PROMOTING VOCATIONAL EDUCATION, POLIJE ENLIVENS EDU FAIR IN BANGKALAN

Politeknik Negeri Jember (Polije) participated in the Edu Fair organized by the Counseling Teacher Association (MGBK) of Bangkalan Regency. The event took place at Gedung Rato Ebu, Bangkalan, and was attended by hundreds of high school (SMA), vocational school (SMK), and Islamic senior high school (MA) students from across Bangkalan Regency.

Syaiful Bachri, Head of Polije’s Public Relations Service Team, stated that this event marked the final stop in Polije’s visit to Madura Island.

“This is the last location we are visiting on Madura Island, following our stops in Sumenep, Pamekasan, and Sampang, with Bangkalan being the final one,” he said.

During the event, Polije introduced its various flagship study programs, including the Off-Campus Study Program (PSDKU) at Campus 4 Sidoarjo, which is the closest location to Bangkalan.

“We are here in Bangkalan to introduce Polije, especially PSDKU Campus 4 Sidoarjo, as an option for prospective students who wish to study at Polije while staying close to Bangkalan,” he added.

In addition to presenting its study programs, the Polije team provided information about the various facilities that support students’ academic activities, such as advanced laboratories, a digital library, and various scholarship programs available for outstanding students and those in need of financial assistance.

The Edu Fair provided students with the opportunity to receive direct information about study programs, facilities, and career prospects offered by Polije. During an interactive Q&A session, students enthusiastically asked about the admission process, student intake pathways, and job prospects for each major at Polije.

Besides Polije, several other universities also participated in the event, giving students broader insights to help them make informed decisions about their higher education choices. This event is expected to inspire more students to pursue higher education, enhancing their competencies and competitiveness in the job market.

As one of Indonesia’s top polytechnics, Polije remains committed to providing high-quality vocational education tailored to industry needs. Through participation in Edu Fairs like this, Polije hopes to reach more potential students eager to develop their skills and contribute to national development. (rda)
