POLITEKNIK NEGERI JEMBER (POLIJE) PROUDLY GRADUATED THE FIRST BATCH OF JOINT DEGREE COOPERATION WITH WUXI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND VIRTUE DRAGON NICKEL INDUSTRY

Politeknik Negeri Jember (Polije) announced its pride in the graduation of 11 students from the first batch of the 2021 Academic Year who were involved in the Joint Degree program with Wuxi Institute of Technology, China. The collaboration, which also involves a Chinese company, Virtue Dragon Nickel Industry (VDNI) in Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi, began in 2018 and has become one of the important milestones in Polije’s efforts towards its vision of becoming a leading polytechnic in Asia by 2035.

This Joint Degree Program is part of Polije’s commitment to improving the quality of education and opening international opportunities for its students. The graduation of this first batch marks a significant achievement in the collaboration between Polije and Wuxi Institute of Technology. “We are very proud of this graduation. The students have shown great dedication in completing this program,” said the Director of Jember State Polytechnic.

This success is even more meaningful because the alumni of the Joint Degree program will soon have significant employment opportunities at Virtue Dragon Nickel Industry, a Chinese company operating in Indonesia. This reflects the success of a collaboration that not only provides quality education but also a clear career path for graduates.

Politeknik Negeri Jember hopes that this collaboration will continue to grow and include other study programs outside of Information Technology in the future. “We are optimistic that this relationship will continue and provide greater benefits for both institutions as well as the companies involved. We also look forward to visits from representatives of Wuxi Institute of Technology to Jember State Polytechnic,” added the Director of Polije.

With the spirit of international collaboration, Polije is determined to continue improving the quality of education and expanding opportunities for its students, in line with its vision to become one of the leading Polytechnics in Asia by 2035. (ang)
