Jember State Polytechnic (Polije) has once again demonstrated its leadership in agricultural education by hosting the Agricultural Innovation and Technology Competition (AITeC) 2025. The prestigious event featured multiple competition categories, including the practical Livestock Handling contest conducted at the Perjuangan 45 Gymnasium courtyard.

Polije Director Saiful Anwar emphasized the competition’s educational value, stating, “Livestock Handling represents a crucial category that trains students and participants in practical livestock skills aligned with industry standards.”

He highlighted how the competition serves as both a skills assessment and real-world learning platform.

The director further elaborated on AITeC’s broader significance, noting that “the competition is designed so participants not only demonstrate technical abilities but also collaborate, adapt, and generate ideas beneficial for national agricultural development.”

This approach reinforces the event’s role in fostering innovation and professional networking.

The Livestock Handling competition generated enthusiastic participation from students, lecturers, and industry partners alike. This strong engagement underscores the vital synergy between vocational education and actual industry requirements within the agribusiness sector.
