POLIJE STUDENT WINS 2ND PLACE IN INTERNATIONAL VIDEO COMPETITION IN CHINA

Politeknik Negeri Jember (Polije) proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of one of its students from the TKK class of 2022, currently studying at Wuxi Institute of Technology (WXIT) in China. The talented student clinched 2nd place in an International Video Competition organized as part of the Language Day celebration at WXIT.

The competition, which attracted participants from several countries, was aimed at promoting cultural awareness, creativity, and language proficiency. Contestants were tasked with creating videos that reflect their perspectives on global cultures and languages. The Polije student stood out with a compelling video presentation that showcased not only technical proficiency but also a deep understanding of cross-cultural communication. This achievement illustrates the student’s dedication and innovative thinking in conveying complex ideas through visual storytelling.

Agung Wahyono, Ph.D., Vice Director of Collaboration at Polije, expressed his admiration for the student’s accomplishment, highlighting the significance of the event. “We are extremely proud of our student’s success in China. This achievement is not only a personal victory but also a reflection of the global vision and quality education that Polije strives to impart to its students,” he said. He also emphasized that such international experiences enhance students’ understanding of cultural diversity and global communication.

WXIT’s Language Day, which is celebrated annually, serves as a platform to encourage students to embrace and appreciate the linguistic and cultural differences of their peers from around the world. The event included a range of activities, from language presentations and performances to creative competitions, all aimed at strengthening intercultural bonds and showcasing the rich diversity of the global student community.
