According to Sri Agustini, S.Pd., Chairperson of the Tulungagung Edu Fair Committee, the event aimed to provide students with a clear overview of available majors or study programs and future career prospects.

“Parents and students will receive direct information from the participating universities. We hope this event will make it easier for students to determine the educational path that aligns with their interests and future goals after graduation,” explained Sri Agustini.

Politeknik Negeri Jember (Polije) actively participated in this Edu Fair. According to Agung Wahyono, S.P., M.Si., Ph.D., Deputy Director for Planning, Cooperation, and Information Systems at Polije, the event was an important platform for students to gain insights into academic and vocational education pathways that match their interests.

“Previously, academic and vocational higher education were under different directorates. However, they are now unified under a single ministry, providing more opportunities for students to choose educational pathways that align with their goals,” said Agung Wahyono.

He also added that the Edu Fair was a golden opportunity for students to consult directly with representatives from various universities.

“Polije offers various study programs, including opportunities for studying abroad through joint degree or double degree programs. These programs allow students to pursue education at two different institutions, both domestically and internationally, enhancing their competitiveness in the global job market,” he continued.

As one of Indonesia’s leading vocational universities, Polije also offers an International Class Program. This program allows students to study using an international-standard curriculum while interacting with lecturers and students from different countries. It is designed to enhance students’ global competencies and prepare them for the increasingly competitive job market.

“Through the International Class Program, Polije students will experience a unique learning environment, including the use of English as the medium of instruction, collaboration with international students, and opportunities for internships and student exchanges abroad,” added Agung Wahyono.

In addition, Polije provides various scholarship programs for prospective students who meet specific criteria, supporting those with financial limitations who wish to pursue higher education.

Students were enthusiastic about visiting each university booth to gather more information about their desired educational pathways.

It also served as a platform for universities to showcase their advantages and facilities to prospective students.
