POLIJE INTRODUCES INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM DURING VISIT FROM SMK NEGERI 4 JEMBER

Politeknik Negeri Jember (Polije) welcomed a visit from SMK Negeri 4 Jember as part of its commitment to strengthening collaboration between vocational high schools and higher vocational education institutions. This visit served as an important opportunity to introduce Polije’s international class program, alongside showcasing its industry-based learning environment.

During the visit, students from SMK Negeri 4 Jember explored several flagship facilities at Polije, including the Teaching Factory (Tefa) Bakery and Coffee, the Tefa Feedlot and Dairy Farm, and the Department of Information Technology (JTI). These facilities are designed to give students hands-on experience that mirrors real industry conditions, emphasizing Polije’s focus on applied learning and technical excellence.

Drs. Syaiful Bachri, M.M., Head of Public Relations Services at Polije, highlighted that this visit reflects the institution’s efforts to develop competent human resources through strong synergies with vocational schools.

“The visit from SMK Negeri 4 Jember is one of Polije’s initiatives to build synergy with vocational schools in developing skilled and competent human resources,” said Syaiful Bachri.

In addition to the tour, Polije also introduced its international class program, a standout initiative that enables students to study under a global framework. This program is conducted in collaboration with several partner universities abroad, offering opportunities for international mobility and cross-cultural academic experiences.

The visit is expected to inspire students from SMK Negeri 4 Jember to pursue further education in vocational institutions and to consider the benefits of joining programs with international exposure.
