POLIJE INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS SHINE AT CZIMT CULTURAL FESTIVAL 2025

Twelve international students from Politeknik Negeri Jember (POLIJE), Indonesia, took center stage at the 2025 Cultural Festival hosted by Changzhou Institute of Mechatronic Technology (CZIMT), showcasing Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage through a vibrant blend of music, dance, and traditional attire.

The students Atikah Nuri Hazma, Aisyah Salshabilla Siska Putri, Alfionina Dwi Rachmalia, Muhammad Rama Pradipa Wijaya, Iqbal Amin, Ari Ananda Puja Kesuma, M. Reynand Iqbal Mahendra, Arya Advicenna, Haikal Muna’amul Islam, Fitri Amalia Saqila, Moch. Adim Rizky Syah Putra, and Ridho Aditya enthusiastically performed a traditional Indonesian dance and sang popular folk songs that captivated the audience.

With dazzling costumes representing various regions of Indonesia, the group drew loud applause and admiration from students and faculty alike. Their performance was part of a broader intercultural exchange program aimed at promoting diversity, unity, and global friendship among CZIMT’s international student community.

Salsabila, one of the student performers, expressed her excitement: “It’s an honor to represent Indonesia and share our traditions with friends from China and other countries. We not only study here but also become cultural ambassadors.”

The festival featured cultural exhibitions from multiple nations, including China, Laos, Thailand, and Indonesia. Attendees had the chance to taste traditional foods, join hands-on workshops, and engage in cultural games that emphasized mutual understanding and appreciation.

This annual event has become a highlight for CZIMT’s international cooperation initiatives, strengthening the bonds between students from different backgrounds and creating unforgettable memories through cultural expression.

The participation of POLIJE students in the festival exemplifies the holistic international education experience they receive one that fosters not only academic excellence but also global awareness and intercultural competence.
