Politeknik Negeri Jember (Polije) and Swisscontact’s Skills for Competitiveness (SS4C) program have concluded a week-long series of intensive coordination meetings, marking substantial progress in the preparation of the Joint Activity Plan (JAP) 2026–2027. The meetings involved a comprehensive review of technical and administrative components, including the evaluation of Project-Based Learning (PBL) and the TEFA dairy processing unit.
Polije Leadership stated that the intensity of the discussions reflects the institution’s readiness to enter a new cooperation phase with more focused targets.
“This intensive discussion reflects Polije’s readiness to begin a new phase of cooperation with clearer objectives, stronger governance structures, and enhanced program strategies,” said Polije Leadership.
SS4C acknowledged the strong engagement and high level of preparedness demonstrated by Polije’s teams throughout the week.
Kiki Hendarin (Deputy Program Manager SS4C) asserted that the teamwork demonstrated by Polije’s team was crucial to the success of the planning process.
“We acknowledge the strong engagement and high level of preparedness shown by the Polije teams. The dedication of each unit is a key factor contributing to the substantial progress achieved this week,” explained Kiki Hendarin.
The outcomes from all sessions throughout the week will be consolidated into the JAP draft, which is scheduled for official signing in December 2025 in conjunction with the visit of the SECO Swiss delegation.
“We conclude this week with optimism and a shared commitment to advancing vocational education excellence and strengthening Polije’s role within the international cooperation framework,” concluded Polije Leadership.
