Politeknik Negeri Jember (Polije) continues to deepen its collaboration with Management and Science University (MSU), Malaysia, with a series of strategic initiatives planned for 2025. One of the major highlights is the upcoming Visit Lecture from MSU to Polije, scheduled for May 2025.
This academic visit is expected to serve as a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration between the two institutions. More importantly, it is also envisioned as a strategic moment to attract prospective new students to Polije. Various activities such as competitions or seminars involving high school and vocational school students (SMA/SMK) are encouraged to be organized during this visit to build engagement and showcase the international opportunities available at Polije.
To ensure smooth academic coordination and readiness, an online meeting involving the Informatics Engineering (TIF) and Medical Informatics (MID) study programs is scheduled to take place by the end of April 2025. The meeting will focus on curriculum mapping and preparations for the 2025 student intake, especially for the joint degree program with MSU.
In a further show of commitment to the partnership, MSU has announced special scholarship opportunities for institutions participating in their joint degree program. For 2025:
– Politeknik partners that successfully send 20 students to the joint degree program will be granted 1 Fast-Track Master’s Scholarship.
– Politeknik partners that manage to send 25 students will be awarded 1 Ph.D. Scholarship.
These opportunities reflect MSU’s dedication to supporting student mobility and advanced academic pursuits while recognizing institutions that actively engage in collaborative education programs.
With these developments, the partnership between Polije and MSU is poised to offer even greater benefits to students, faculty, and both institutions as they continue working together in promoting global academic excellence. (rda)
