Vice Director IV of Jember State Polytechnic (Polije), Agung Wahyono, SP., M.Si., Ph. D, and Dean of Information Technology, Hendra Yufit Riskianwan, S.T., M.T., became speakers at the Lunch Special Lecture at Kyungpook National University (KNU) Daegu Campus. The event, which was attended by KNU students, was held at IT5 Building No. 415, Room 324.
In this guest lecture, Agung Wahyono, SP., M.Si., Ph. D presented material on the development of cooperation between Politeknik Negeri Jember and Kyungpook National University. This discussion aims to strengthen the relationship between the two institutions, especially in the development of international programs and student exchanges.
In addition, Hendra Yufit Riskianwan, Dean of Polije Information Technology, delivered material related to the latest technology in agriculture. With the topic AI Enabled Smart Monitoring and Controlling of IoT Greenhouse, he explained how artificial intelligence (AI) technology can be integrated with the Internet of Things (IoT) to optimize greenhouse monitoring and management. This material is relevant to the needs of modern agriculture, especially in facing environmental challenges and production efficiency.
This activity is one of Polije’s strategic efforts in expanding international reach and promoting technological innovation in agriculture, especially in supporting sustainable development. The KNU students who attended gained new insights into international collaboration and technological developments in agriculture.
