Profile
Coffee Plantation Management Study Program is a Diploma 4 program. The study program focuses on coffee cultivation technology, coffee processing, coffee products business to the barista.
After the study, the graduate earn a Bachelor of Agricultural Applied Science (S.Tr.P). They have competence in the technical fields of coffee cultivation and processing as well as managerial skills with an entrepreneurial spirit.With this competency, the graduates have job opportunities as assistant managers of coffee plantations, consultant in the field of coffee agribusiness, marketing/field assistant managers in the fields of coffee services and products, field supervisors for the pesticide, fertilizer, seed, and agro industries, baristas and entrepreneurs focusing on coffee commodity.
To support the existence of Coffee Plantation Management Study Program, the State Polytechnic of Jember has cooperated with the Indonesian Coffee and Cocoa Research Center (ICCRI), SDS (Sustainable Development Services), ISO/IEC 17065 accredited-certification body for organic agriculture and sustainable program standards, the Indonesia Coffee Farmers Association (APEKI) Jember and Bondowoso chapter, as well as coffee farming groups inJember-Bondowoso region.

The Objective
- Providing professionals, competitive graduates (Bachelor of Applied Science) at the level of assistant garden manager with environment awareness and noble character in the field of Coffee Plant Cultivation;
- Providing professional graduates (Bachelor of Applied Science) who are able to provide consultant services in the field of Coffee Agribusiness;
- Providing professionals graduates (Bachelor of Applied Science) at the marketing/field assistant manager level in the field of coffee services and products;
- Providing expert professional graduates (Bachelor of Applied Science) who are able to become field supervisors for the pesticide, fertilizer, seed and agro-industrial fields of coffee plantations;
- Providing professional graduates (Bachelor of Applied Science) in terms of reliable coffee drink serving techniques (Barista); and
- Forming entrepreneurs in the field of coffee.
