Polije and SS4C Finalize Joint Activity Plan (JAP) for Vocational Development

Politeknik Negeri Jember (Polije) and Swisscontact’s Skills for Competitiveness (SS4C) program convened a high-level coordination meeting to deliberate the Joint Activity Plan (JAP) for the 2026–2027 cooperation cycle.

The session was attended by Polije leaders and key SS4C representatives, aiming to reinforce a structured partnership in academic development and technical capacity enhancement.

The JAP is expected to serve as a comprehensive guideline for program implementation. Polije’s leadership, represented by Agung Wahyono, Ph.D., specifically emphasized the necessity of establishing measurable performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure sustainable benefits from this collaboration.

“We stress the importance of setting measurable performance indicators to ensure that the implementation of the JAP yields sustainable benefits for students, academic staff, and the institution as a whole,” said Agung Wahyono, Ph.D.

SS4C expressed appreciation for Polije’s proactive engagement, reaffirming Polije’s status as one of SS4C’s key institutional partners in Indonesia. Kiki Hendarin (Deputy Program Manager SS4C) added that Polije is a crucial institutional partner.

“We affirm that Polije is one of SS4C’s key institutional partners in Indonesia, particularly in advancing excellence in vocational education,” explained Kiki Hendarin.

Both parties expressed hope that the finalized JAP will enhance teaching quality, improve the technical learning environment, and expand international cooperation.

“We are confident that the finalized JAP will significantly elevate institutional capabilities, strengthen collaborative synergy, and enhance Polije’s global competitiveness in the years ahead,” emphasized Polije Leadership.
