Jember State Polytechnic (Polije) has officially advanced to the final round of the Agriculture Innovation Technology Competition (AIteC7) 2025, held on September 28–30, 2025. Dozens of student teams from universities across the country are competing with innovative ideas to address challenges in the agricultural sector.
Polije Director, Saiful Anwar, S.TP., M.P., expressed his appreciation for the enthusiasm shown by participants since the beginning of the competition.
“The final round marks the peak of AIteC7’s long journey. We have witnessed the extraordinary spirit of students in creating innovations that combine technology with local wisdom. This is clear evidence that the young generation can become the driving force of Indonesia’s food security,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Vice Director for Student Affairs, Wahyu Kurnia Dewanto, S.Kom., M.T., emphasized the importance of sustaining innovation beyond the competition.
“We hope that the ideas presented in the final round will not stop as competition entries but will continue to grow and bring real benefits to society. AIteC7 is the beginning of a long journey for students to contribute in the agricultural sector,” he explained.
In this year’s final round, participants compete in two main categories: Agricultural Technology Innovation and Agricultural Vocational Contest, covering subthemes such as mechanization, local food products, agribusiness, and livestock.
AIteC7 serves not only as a platform for competition but also as a medium for students to sharpen vocational skills and research-based innovation. Polije positions this event as a stage for creative youth to contribute directly to agricultural advancement.
Winners will receive development grants along with opportunities to further enhance their innovations in collaboration with Polije’s strategic partners. The competition is expected to foster a new generation of agricultural innovators who will strengthen national food security in line with Indonesia’s Vision 2045.
