A remarkable achievement was made by Enrico Indra Budianto, a student of Politeknik Negeri Jember (Polije), who won the Silver Medal in the Poster Presentation (Proficient category) at the prestigious Indonesian Polytechnic English Championship (IPEC) II 2025. The event was hosted by Politeknik Negeri Manado in North Sulawesi and gathered participants from polytechnics across the nation.
Enrico’s outstanding performance reflects not only his personal dedication but also the strong academic support system provided by Polije. Despite fierce competition, his achievement adds to the growing list of national-level recognitions earned by Polije students.
In his statement, Enrico expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity.
“I feel very grateful and proud because I received full support and facilities from Politeknik Negeri Jember to participate in the competition and travel to Manado, North Sulawesi. Each of us managed to win medals in different categories, and it makes me proud to achieve this milestone and gain new experiences during our third semester.”
He also emphasized that the achievement should be seen as a stepping stone for greater success ahead.
“Although we could not secure the overall champion title for Politeknik Negeri Jember, this serves as a valuable lesson for us to evaluate and prepare better for the next IPEC. Our hope is to come back stronger next year with more thorough preparation, bringing greater pride to Politeknik Negeri Jember,” Enrico added.
The success of Enrico and his fellow teammates at IPEC II 2025 demonstrates Polije’s commitment to nurturing English proficiency, critical thinking, and academic presentation skills among its students.
This accomplishment not only positions Polije as a competitive vocational higher education institution at the national level but also motivates other students to step forward, embrace challenges, and achieve excellence in academic competitions.
