Two Polije Teams Achieve Finalist Status at Ngawi Inotek Awards 2025

Politeknik Negeri Jember (Polije) once again demonstrated its strength in applied innovation as two of its teams were selected as finalists at the Inotek Awards Ngawi 2025. The event was held in conjunction with the 667th anniversary celebration of Ngawi Regency, highlighting the synergy between innovation, education, and regional development. Both teams proudly secured third-place positions in their respective categories, showcasing Polije’s excellence in research and technology-based solutions.

One of the Polije teams earned third place in the Agribusiness and Renewable Energy Innovation category. Their project emphasized sustainable practices and environmentally conscious solutions in the agricultural sector—an area that has long been a focus of Polije’s vocational education mission. The innovation was applauded for its relevance and potential impact on regional farming communities.

The second team was awarded third place in the Millennial Innovation category, which focused on creative solutions developed by the younger generation to address present-day challenges. This achievement reflects Polije’s consistent encouragement of its students and faculty to develop innovative and future-ready projects, positioning the institution at the forefront of youth-centered innovation.

The success of both teams at the Inotek Awards marks an important milestone for Polije as a leading vocational institution that prioritizes practical, industry-aligned education. Participation in competitions like this is not only a platform to showcase the talent of students and lecturers but also a way to foster collaboration between academia and local government in advancing regional development.

Polije’s participation aligns strongly with its vision to become a globally recognized polytechnic, especially in Asia by 2035. This vision is supported by its mission to produce competent, innovative, and entrepreneurial graduates through high-quality vocational education, applied research, and impactful community service. The institution also focuses on strengthening industry collaboration to ensure the relevance and competitiveness of its programs.

In its strategic goals, Polije emphasizes improving access to vocational education, enhancing the quality and relevance of teaching, expanding research and community engagement, and developing innovation-based entrepreneurship. The success at Inotek Awards Ngawi 2025 serves as concrete evidence of how these goals are being translated into real achievements at both institutional and individual levels.

By becoming finalists in a regional innovation competition, the Polije teams have proven that vocational institutions can play a significant role in solving real-world problems. Their projects reflect a blend of scientific understanding, technical skill, and social awareness—traits that Polije continues to nurture across all of its study programs.

Looking ahead, Polije remains committed to supporting its students and staff in developing innovations with social, environmental, and economic impact. Through stronger partnerships with regional governments, industries, and research ecosystems, Polije aims to continue driving applied innovations and reaffirming its role as a leader in vocational education in Indonesia.
