POLIJE HEALTH DEPARTMENT HIGHLIGHTS DIGITAL HEALTH TRANSFORMATION IN CROSS-SECTOR TALK SHOW

The Department of Health at Politeknik Negeri Jember (Polije) successfully hosted a talk show titled “Optimizing Health Transformation Through Digital Health Innovation, Nutricraft, and Community Empowerment” on June 19, 2025, at the GOR Perjuangan 45 auditorium. This event served as a dynamic forum for exploring the role of innovation, technology, and community-based strategies in transforming modern healthcare systems.

The talk show featured key speakers from diverse sectors who offered critical insights into the intersection of digital health, public services, and economic infrastructure. The discussion emphasized how technology-driven solutions and local innovation can improve health outcomes and empower communities, especially in rural and developing areas.

The event was moderated by Dahlia Indah Amareta, S.KM, M.Gizi., a faculty member from the Health Department, and was attended with great enthusiasm by students, lecturers, and representatives from partner institutions. The conversation flowed interactively, underscoring the relevance of interdisciplinary dialogue in health education today.

In her opening speech, Head of the Health Department, Ir. Rindiani, M.P., expressed that the talk show was designed to expand student perspectives beyond academic theory and into real-world challenges and innovations shaping the health sector. She stressed that Polije is committed to ensuring students are not only academically competent but also practically aware and adaptable to global developments in health.

She further noted that the involvement of speakers from government, hospitals, and financial institutions like Bank Indonesia demonstrated the necessity of multi-sector collaboration in achieving inclusive and sustainable health transformation. Their presence highlighted the crucial link between policy, service delivery, and technological advancement.

This initiative reflects Polije’s ongoing efforts to position itself as a leader in applied health education, capable of responding to global trends such as digitalization, mental health awareness, and equitable access to health services.
