
A proud and emotional moment marked the graduation ceremony of the international class students from the Computer Engineering Study Program of Politeknik Negeri Jember (POLIJE), Indonesia, in collaboration with Wuxi University of Technology, China. Held at the Wuxi University of Technology Grand Hall, the event celebrated the successful completion of the 2024/2025 academic program for 12 outstanding students.
The ceremony was attended by senior leadership from Wuxi University of Technology and POLIJE, academic staff, international coordinators, and proud representatives from both institutions. The red banner in Chinese and English that adorned the stage read “Graduation Ceremony for International Students 2025 – Wuxi University of Technology,” symbolizing the strong bond and fruitful academic exchange between Indonesia and China.
The 12 graduates from POLIJE’s Computer Engineering Program were: Ayhar Nur Alif, Ismadiana Kurniawan, Monang Mangata Tampubolon, Syahrul Alam, Shofi Ainur Mukminah, Keane Kent, Rose Vania Adriyanti, Shamir Faizal Thalib, Adrian Solehudin, Alif Abdaul Karim, Mochamad Albanus Fahrezi, and Ali Syarief. These students not only demonstrated academic excellence but also became cultural ambassadors during their stay in China.
POLIJE’s international collaboration with Wuxi University of Technology is part of its strategic commitment to globalizing vocational education through student mobility, double degree programs, and cross-cultural academic experiences. This initiative is aimed at equipping students with both technical skills and global competencies.
Speaking at the event, university officials extended their heartfelt congratulations and praised the Indonesian students for their adaptability, discipline, and contributions to the academic environment at Wuxi University of Technology. “This is not just a graduation, but the beginning of your role as global professionals,” one faculty member stated during the ceremony.
The graduates were seen in full academic regalia, proudly holding their diplomas, and posing for photographs with university staff and international program coordinators. A strong sense of achievement and cross-cultural unity filled the air.
