POLIJE PARTICIPATES IN THE SKILLS IN ACTION FORUM 2025 TO STRENGTHEN HUMAN RESOURCE COMPETITIVENESS

Politeknik Negeri Jember (Polije) took part in the Skills in Action Forum: Advancing Competitiveness held at Aryanusa Ballroom, Menara Danareksa, Jakarta. The event was attended by key stakeholders from the government, industry sector, and vocational education institutions, including Polije, represented by the Vice Director IV for Cooperation, Agung Wahyono, Ph.D. 

The forum, initiated by the Swiss Government through Swisscontact Indonesia, aims to enhance industrial competitiveness by developing high-quality human resources. During the panel discussion, experts from various sectors discussed strategies for improving the quality of vocational education to support sustainable economic growth. 

In his statement, Agung Wahyono emphasized that Polije’s participation in this forum is a strategic step in expanding international collaboration and strengthening industry-based vocational education.

“We are committed to continuously improving the quality of our graduates by adopting best practices from various countries and fostering synergy with industry partners,” he stated. 

The event was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Education, as well as various multinational companies and industry associations. The forum concluded with a networking session, providing participants with opportunities to explore further collaborations in human resource development. 

Through its active participation in this forum, Polije continues to solidify its position as a globally oriented vocational education institution, ready to contribute to developing high-quality human resources and enhancing national industrial competitiveness. (rda)
