Politeknik Negeri Jember (Polije) actively participated in the Edu Fair organized by the Counseling Teacher Association (MGBK) of Banyuwangi Regency. The event took place at GOR Tawang Alun Banyuwangi on Monday (12/02).
Attended by thousands of students from high schools (SMA), vocational schools (SMK), and Islamic high schools (Madrasah Aliyah/MA) across Banyuwangi, Polije’s participation aimed to introduce a variety of top-tier study programs and the international class program available for prospective students.
On this occasion, the Public Relations team of Polije, led by Drs. Syaiful Bachri, M.M., actively promoted the excellence of the vocational campus. They provided detailed explanations about the educational facilities, practice-based curriculum, and job opportunities for graduates. Additionally, the international class program, which has become a key attraction, was a major focus of promotion.
“The enthusiasm of the students is very high, especially considering that Jember is geographically close to Banyuwangi. Many participants are interested in exploring study programs at Polije, both at the D3 and D4 levels. They are also keen to learn about the international class program, including its requirements and collaboration opportunities with overseas universities,” said Syaiful Bachri.
According to him, the geographical proximity between Banyuwangi and Jember is an added advantage for students who wish to pursue higher education without moving far from their families.
“The distance between Banyuwangi and Jember is relatively close, making Polije an ideal choice for students from Banyuwangi who want to continue their education at a higher level,” he added.
One of the highlights of Polije’s participation in the Edu Fair was the promotion of its International Class Program. This program offers students the opportunity to gain global exposure through international curriculum, collaborative learning with partner universities abroad, and student exchange programs.
Polije’s international class provides a unique learning experience that combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on industry training at an international scale. Students enrolled in this program have the opportunity to participate in double-degree programs, overseas internships, and international competitions.
Additionally, Polije has established partnerships with renowned universities in countries such as Malaysia, Taiwan, China, and France. These collaborations open doors for students to gain a broader perspective and enhance their competencies in a competitive global job market.
By actively participating in strategic events like the MGBK Banyuwangi Edu Fair, Polije aims to expand its reach and strengthen its position as a leading vocational higher education institution in the Tapal Kuda region.
