Politeknik Negeri Jember proudly announces the achievement of three distinguished lecturers from the Information Technology Department, who have been selected to participate in the prestigious Non-Degree Program for Vocational Lecturer Competency Enhancement (NDPKD) Termin 2. The lecturers are Trismayanti Dwi Puspitasari, S.Kom., M.Cs., Taufiq Rizaldi, S.ST., MT., and I Gede Wiryawan, S.Kom., M.Kom.
Organized by the Directorate of Institutional and Resource Development for Vocational Higher Education under the Directorate General of Vocational Education, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, this program aims to enhance the skills and global competitiveness of vocational educators. The selected lecturers will join 19 other participants from 13 polytechnics across Indonesia in this international certification program.
The program will be held at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) in Australia from November 11 to November 19, 2024, under the theme “Developing Competitive Advantages with Data and AI.” The certification scheme focuses on equipping participants with advanced knowledge and practical expertise in data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI), two key areas driving global technological advancements and industry competitiveness.
This milestone represents a significant recognition of the quality and dedication of lecturers from Politeknik Negeri Jember. It also highlights the institution’s commitment to producing innovative educators capable of responding to the evolving demands of vocational education and training.
Trismayanti Dwi Puspitasari expressed her enthusiasm for the program, stating, “This opportunity will not only enhance our individual competencies but also contribute to the overall academic quality of Politeknik Negeri Jember, especially in integrating data and AI into vocational education.”
Similarly, Taufiq Rizaldi emphasized the importance of staying updated with global trends, saying, “By participating in this program, we aim to bring back valuable insights and skills that can inspire the next generation of students at Polije to excel in an increasingly competitive world.”
The NDPKD program is expected to have a far-reaching impact on the development of vocational education in Indonesia.
