POLIJE HAS TWO LECTURERS FROM JIANGSU AGRI-ANIMAL HUSBANDRY VOCATIONAL COLLEGE COMING TO TEACH

Politeknik Negeri Jember (Polije) had a lecturer from from Jiangsu Agri-animal Husbandry Vocational College (JSAHVC), China. The arrival of lecturers from JSAHVC was welcomed directly by the Director of Polije, Saiful Anwar, S.Tp., M.P., Vice Director for Planning, Cooperation and Information Systems, Agung Wahyono, SP., M.SI., Ph.D., and the Coordinator of the Poultry Business Management Study Program, Dr. Ir. Dadik Pantaya, M.Si., IPU.

According to the Director of Polije, Saiful Anwar, S.Tp., M.P., Polije warmly welcomed the arrival of the lecturer from China. The arrival of the lecturer from JSAHVC is a form of implementation of tripartite husbandry cooperation.

“Their arrival at Polije is an implementation of cooperation between the Polije Animal Husbandry Department with PT Haida Agriculture Indonesia and Jiangsu Agri-animal Husbandry Vocational China,” said the Director of Polije.

Later they will teach students of the Polije Animal Husbandry Department. This aims to prepare Polije students to be ready to become a professional workforce at PT Haida Agriculture Indonesia.

The same thing was acknowledged by the Vice Director for Planning, Cooperation, and Information Systems, Agung Wahyono, SP., M.SI., Ph.D. He said that the presence of lecturers from JSAHVC was an implementation of the tripartite husbandry cooperation carried out some time ago.

“This presence is also an implementation of the trilateral program which is a collaboration between one university in Indonesia, one university in China, and industry,” Agung Wahyono, SP, M.SI, Ph.D. explained. Agung Wahyono continued, they will teach 10 students who have been selected. They will teach for 10 months at Polije.

“The 10 students have previously conducted activities at PT Haida Agriculture Indonesia, and now they will be taught by lecturers from JSAHVC. After they have finished being taught by lecturers from JSAHVC, in their eighth semester they will return to PT Haida Agriculture Indonesia to do a four-month internship. After that, qualified students will be directly recruited to work at PT Haida Agriculture Indonesia,” continued Agung Wahyono, SP, M.SI, Ph.D.

So, this is a form of implementation of cooperation that was originally in the form of student exchange, which was then upgraded to a tripartite husbandry cooperation program. Then later the 1+1+1 program will be implemented. (hnf/iq/ang/vig)
